Damian worked for the last 12 years at PokerStrategy.com, the world’s biggest poker community and poker school, as well as the biggest gambling affiliate. He served since January 2013 as CEO. The company was acquired mid-2013 for $50 million by Playtech (PTEC-L), the world’s largest online gaming and sports betting software supplier. Within Playtech, he was heading one of Playtech’s B2B software supplier business units and worked with customers such as bet365, William Hill or Paddy Power Betfair.
Before his time at PokerStrategy.com Damian was active in the gaming and esports scene, both as a player as well as professionally.
He created and managed the biggest German-speaking gaming communities at ingame.de, participated in the CPL Dallas events as a player and journalist and served as a tournament admin for the World Cyber Games in Singapore, CPL Europe events organized by the ESL and many others such as the WWCL.
Christian is a veteran within the gambling space, with over 18 years of experience in different companies and different positions.
He is an active investor, holding investments in not only gambling but also in cutting-edge technologies sectors ranging from the cybersecurity to Edu tech and E-health.
Christian holds the position as chairman and board member in several companies, ranging from start-ups to listed companies.
He is also the founder and CEO of At The Front Line, a consultancy company helping companies with innovation, concept development, business development and strategy. Specializing in gambling and gaming or purely online business growth and success.
Christian founded and was the CEO of Mobenga, the market leading mobile partner for sportsbooks, powering some of the largest brands in the industry, including William Hill, Paddy Power and Sky Bet, eventually selling the company to Playtech (PTEC-L).
Prior to founding Mobenga in 2006, Christian spent several years at the scandinavian sportsbook Expekt.com, holding various senior positions and spending his last year as the company’s CEO.
Christian holds an MsC in Psychology and a BsC in Human Resource Management.
Andrey has 10 years of software development experience, mainly as technical/software architect. His experience covers most notably finance banking sector (UBS) with strong security requirements, real-time settlement systems, online and end-of-day reporting SLA. Air transport marker (SITA) sector with extreme searching/booking and reservation requirements (300K+ TPS). Gambling industry (Playtech) where he acted as software architect in casino and IMS platforms concentrating on building next generation openness platforms, real-time BI, cloudification activities, micro-services decoupling and engagement platform as well as improving of overall experience.
Besides strong hands-on experience in building distributed/fault-tolerant/scalable and predictable systems, Andrey successfully applied wide range of leadership skills to key positions – he was Chief Technical Architect in SITA project (130+ people), Development Manager in Kiev office, scrum master and several others hypostases. Andrey has great overall experience in open source tools and frameworks (Hadoop/Hive/Hbase/Phoenix/Casssandra/CouchBase/Kafka/Flink/Spark/Akka/Postgresql/Redis/RocksDB/Presto/neo4j/IMDGs/ELK) and open-source tools from Netflix/Google/Facebook/Twitter.
In his free time, he is coding in java/python/go/JS/scala, building new DSLs / machine learning program and graph algorithms and writes programs suitable for Raspberry PI platforms. He believes in open-source power and blockchain technology and data-openness and immutability principles. Andrey holds master degree in computer and cybernetics science.
Michael is an excellent all-round product manager with hands-on experience with coding himself. In his free time, he’s developing games in Unity3D, websites in PHP or music creation tools in C# and .net.
In his role as the Head of Product, Michael led the team of ux designers, product managers and developers for PokerStrategy.com. He also worked together with various teams at Playtech on several projects, such as the 2016 redesign of their B2B white label poker software being used by bet365, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Gala Coral and others.
Andrey has 9 years of experience in web development. He was himself in the past CEO of a online multiplayer skill game product where he build a multiplayer Backgammon project focussing on the CIS market and attracted over 200,000 players. Next to his experience in web development, team management, agile and more, he also gained excellent SEO, SMO, SMM and PPC skills.
Katharina was involved in the early days of PokerStrategy.com, the world´s biggest poker community and gambling affiliate, starting in 2006 as Head of Design. With growing interest in the community, she transferred to the position of VIP Management, where she especially was taking care of PokerStrategy´s Diamond and Black Members of which many became early crypto-investors.
Katharina started her trading career, when she became a mother-at-home end of 2009. Being able to gain significant trading experiences within Forex- and Stock-trading, mainly technical analysis for strategic long-term positions, it was only a matter of time until she discovered the crypto-community and stayed. Nowadays Katharina is an active crypto-trader and a technical analyst. She is holding a Bachelor of Science, focused on human genetics.
Ryan is the Co-Founder of ConsenSys-incubated Virtue Poker, a P2P decentralized poker application built on Ethereum.
Ryan joined ConsenSys 2.5 years ago where he was working in Business Development and Marketing before founding Virtue Poker within ConsenSys.
